Наскоро ви писах, че страшно много ми се ходи до Гърция. Особено откато опитах вино от Порто Карас на BIWC 2012. Това лято още не съм ходила до Гърция, но пък ходих в един гръцки ресторант – Миконос – на крайбрежната алея във Варна, който компенсира до някъде ходенето до южната съседка.
Атмосферата беше изключително гръцка, от едната страна се усеща прохладата идваща от морето а от другата звучи емоционално сиртаки. Когато влязохме в заведението беше още рано и полу-празно, но усмихнатите и приятни келнери компенсираха липсата на други хора.
Допадна ми това, че менюто беше кратко, стегнато. Не обичам ресторанти с меню от 20 страници, за което ти трябва половин час да разбереш какво се предлага. а и не вярвам, че може да се предлага такъв богат асортимент и всичко да е прясно. Вярвам, че 4-5 страници меню е предостатъчно.
Окото ми хвана едно предястие с рапани, но сервитьорът ме посъветва да опитам салата с домати и сухар от остров Крит и не съжалих за избора.
Освен, че е ръжен не знам повече за Критския сухар. Доматите бяха изключително ароматни, настъргани; отгоре с нарязани маслини и поръсени с риган и зехтин. Всички това върху сухарите, които бяха леко омекнали от доматите! Много лека салата, отлична комбинация с узото!
Деан очакваше гръцката салата да е като тази, която приготвям у нас и като че ли остана малко разочарован, че нямаше риба. Но пък плочката сиренце беше точно нарязана по гръцки. И отгоре с малко каперси. Макар той да не хапва маслини, каперсите му се усладиха за моя изненада.
Хрупкавите пържени тиквички бяха превъзходни. Толкова тънки, почти като чипс и с този сос… мммм.
Кулминацията за мен дойде с основното. За жалост пистациото не беше готово и за това си поръчах гръцка мусака. Както бях писала тук, и преди бях опитвала мусака в Гърция, но тази беше… да си оближеш пръстите. Патладжаните, тиквичките и картофите бяха нарязани на тънки ленти и гръцката мусака беше „редена“.
Разнообразието от предлагани риби също беше голямо. Сафридът макар малко дребен беше превъзходно изпържен и в класическа комбинация с пържени картофи, идеално подхождаше на ледено студената бира след няколко часа на плажа.
За десерт място не остана 🙁 Макар да бях силно изкушена от баклавичките. Знам обаче, че това беше първото, но не и последното ми посещение на ресторант Mykonos във Варна и даже съм си набелязала какво ще хапвам следващия път – саганаки – панирани кашкавалчета; октопод в оцет – прекрасно мезе за узо и някоя гръцка риба!

The new Zune browser is surprisingly good, but not as good as the iPod’s. It works well, but isn’t as fast as Safari, and has a clunkier interface. If you occasionally plan on using the web browser that’s not an issue, but if you’re planning to browse the web alot from your PMP then the iPod’s larger screen and better browser may be important.
